In December 2024, our talented artist Idarous was asked to paint Sail for Zanzibar President “Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi” for his Birthday showcase on Dhow boat.

Idarous was delighted to be selected over 1,000’s of artists. It’s testament to his dedication, talent and professionalism.

Here is video of the Dhow boat setting sail part of the Presidents birthday celebration held in Stone town harbour, Zanzibar.

This sail was 42 feet long and painted with “Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi” face, his branding and “Happy Birthday, Mr President”.
